Finding a Place

So the first thing we did was try to figure out how many guests we would be having, so we got out the address book and started making  a list!  From the get-go, 60 seemed to be the magic number.  So I started looking for a place that could accommodate about 60.  Has anyone ever tried to find a place in the greater seattle area for that number?  Well, my choices were limited, and limited even greater by those who wouldn't charge us for 125!!  There isn't much out there for over 30 and under 125!

And then I found The City Catering Co!  It was almost too good to be true, I think they thought I was crazy or something, but it was exactly what I was looking for!  They had one room off to the side that felt like a SoHo loft, with tons of character to boot!  With a max capacity of 80, it was perfect.  I didn't even care what their food tasted like... until I tasted it!  I'm still looking for someone to have an event there I can invite myself to!!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, there was definitely a familial atmosphere.  Although at times they were a bit too relaxed for me, and right before I started to get worried.  But they're the type of people you don't have to tell anything twice to, because they got it the first time!  They got my strange idea of a cocktail party with a wedding in the middle, and were totally willing to go along with it all!
