Well it all started with a proposal.... then the madness begins! Well, actually, since this wasn't the first wedding for either of us so we had fun brainstorming what we wanted our wedding day to look like. Since Jason has a hankering for the dirty martini and I love the lemon drop martini it was quickly apparent that the martini must make an appearance. From there it digressed quite naturally into the era of the Martini Man, Dean Martin himself and his other buddies who formed the original rat pack! And since I'm curvy and a natural blonde, Marilyn wasn't to far behind.
A cocktail party seemed fitting, but since he had two children under the age of 21, heading to a local bar was out of the question! So we started thinking about how to do this. A cocktail party would make for a fun evening reception, with dancing and general merriment, but what about the wedding? I said, lets just throw a cocktail party and get married in the middle?
So we did.
